Dane Cunningham – Relationship Expert, Author and Poet

Elder Dane T. Cunningham is the Founder and Executive Director of Embrace Relationships Seminars, Inc. (ERS Inc.), which is a non-profit ministry.

E.R.S. Inc. provides biblically based instruction through mediums such as seminars, books, videos, and tapes, to assist individuals from all walks of life in enhancing, managing, and building relationships.

They receive a wealth of information on the topic of relationships that include principles for effective communication in relationships, practical instruction for encouraging others in relationships, and guidelines for creating accountability in all types of relationships.

Dane is an ordained minister and serves in a dual capacity as an Elder and as the Singles Minister at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia where Bishop Eddie L. Long is Senior Pastor. Dane has served in ministry for the past 15 years. He has also previously served as a Christian Education Instructor and as the Director of the Ministers-In-Training program at New Birth.

Cunningham has written numerous articles on relationships and is the author of the authoritative book, Take A Look Within, A Biblical Perspective On Why We Do What We Do. This book provokes a reevaluation of one’s relationship with God and with others, while providing a foundation for understanding why we do what we do.

Dane’s secular career includes his current position of Sergeant with the DeKalb County Police Department in Decatur, Georgia. He has previously held a position as a State Trooper with the state of Ohio, and has four years of military service with the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged after attaining the rank of Sergeant. Dane holds a certificate of Biblical Studies from Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia.
